Vicomsoft FTP Client
Current Version: 3.1.6 (November 1, 2002) / 4.6.3 (January 25, 2010)
Vicomsoft produces the Vicomsoft FTP Client software (previously available in a shareware version) for Mac OS and Mac OS X. Vicomsoft touts speed as this FTP client's primary benefit, although I can't personally vouch for that, as I haven't tested it myself.
Pricing starts at $30 ("Classic" version) and $35 (Mac OS X version) for a single user license. See the online ordering page for more information.
Version 4.6.3 - the latest version for Mac OS X - adds/changes the following:
- Added option to encode UTF8 in Normalization Form C
- New Connection window did not appear on some systems
- Fixed some issues with icons and type/creator on Snow Leopard
- Added ability to control the timeout value for connections
- Fixed inability to create Droplets from a different user account
- Start Demo button no longer brings up the Purchase window
